Telemark Motel - Hauggrend

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, as it was near a beautiful lake with crystal clear water - perfect for a swim. Plus, it was close to the lake where you could do kayaking. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and modern apartments that had everything I needed. The cleanliness was great, and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast offered at the nearby tavern was delicious, and the staff there made me feel welcome.

Spotless and well-kept place. Merely a 10-minute walk from Skredvatn Lake, which was a bonus.

Almost perfect.

Spacious and clean room with a large bathroom. The location was prime for stargazing, and we were able to see the entire galaxy. Also, the nearby lake was perfect for kayaking and taking refreshing hikes. The hotel was conveniently located close to several key attractions and the staff was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed our stay, especially the fantastic new year's party, and the food was delicious.

The only downside was that we didn't get to try the pub or restaurant next door as they were closed, but we understand that it was due to water damage. Nevertheless, we were able to take a quick tour, and the owner showed us an impressive taxidermied elk.

They were always ready to assist with any queries and provide recommendations for local attractions. the room was impeccably clean and well-equipped, providing for a comfortable stay.

Although the motel had a lot to offer, the entrance to the building was not very inviting due to the current renovations being carried out. This gave off a negative first impression, making it difficult for guests to enjoy their stay from the start.
